Dave Procter - conference presentation on Århus noise
Dave Procter journeyed across The Pennines back to his old stomping ground of Preston to present on the topic "Århus, in the Middle of Our Street - Reflections on Noise Music Culture in Denmark's Second City" as part of The Present and Future of Electronic Music conference held at the University of Central Lancashire. There was a great collection of speakers and a healthy turn out from Leeds. It was a grand day out indeed!

Frustrating Farsley Fail To Finish Fruitful - Farsley Celtic 0 - Carlton Town 0
This has to have been the most one-sided match I have ever witnessed at Throstle Nest as the Villagers somehow managed not to score against a throughly outplayed Carlton Town in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy. Aside from the odd scare, it was one-way traffic all match, but a collection of poorly struck shots and some decent keeping in the second half, kept Celtic at bay. The number of chances squandered is too annoying to recount in this match report, so I’ll not bother. The company of Bilberkopf, Pointon and Pickergill at least kept the humour going as chance after chance went begging. A severe rocket up the collective arse will doubtless be taking place as I type this and it’s a reply on Tuesday evening at their place.
