Hogwash Noise Lucky Dip Photographs Emerge!

A week ago, eight noiseheads came together to battle for the title of "Lord of Synth" at Chunk in Leeds. Eight entered the arena, one was victorious and that one was Sadistic Statistic. Cameras and audio devices captured the whole couple of hours of fun. Below are the images; the audio and video will be online soon enough :-).

Tuesday just gone saw the welcome return to Leeds of Hogwash. We were very lucky to have the fine artists Stuart Chalmers and Sukitoa o Namau sandwiching the noisy sod Legion of Swine. Some photos were taken, the light was very low as befitted the night, so the quality is not the best shall we say.

Hot new limited c22 tape action from Ojud Records

Pictured below are the new tape releases from Ojud Records, out this very day! First we have hammar :: ö by Nørthern Pøwerhøuse, which consists of field recordings of industrial sounds on the island of Hammarö in Sweden. Secondly, and keeping the environmental vibe, SKAND's release solnedgång, which is a collection of pieces created by the light of the sunsets over the island and converted into audio.

Hogwash is back again!

Yes, you read correctly - Hogwash returns with a cracker of an event on November 21st 2017 at The Fox and Newt, Leeds.

Headlining is Sukitoa o Namau from Morocco, bringing trance and ambient electronics to sooth our battered frames after Legion of Swine has assaulted them. Opening act tba soon.....

Denmark happenings this coming week for Legion of Swine and Dave Procter

Dave Procter and Legion of Swine will be in Denmark over the next week. First of all, Legion of Swine will be performing at Northern Noise in Copenhagen on Friday 25th of September - see here for details - https://www.facebook.com/events/1899201800348895/.

Urban Myth update

An update on the Urban Myth project between sound artist Dave Procter and Stockholm-based visual artist Geraldine Hudson. The pair met up in Stockholm recently to collect images and sound around the destruction and construction taking place at Slussen, the main gate between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. They plan to develop their ideas for an installation provisionally in January 2018 in Stockholm.
