Installations

Minstallation - Larrys Corner, Stockholm - August 2022

The idea behind this installation came form offcuts of cardboard used in other artistic endeavours. The Fibonacci Series was used to determine the thickness of the bands of card and the card colours represent an attempt to mirror my favourite images around Hammarö to that point.

I wanted to create a small installation, hence the name, with the following conditions -

  • all materials used to be recycled/reused/repurposed
  • all materials to fit on the smallest available table at Larrys Corner

Also playing on a loop was a concert performed by Fibonacci Drone Organ at Larrys Corner earlier in 2022, fitting in with the recycling focus.

Urban Myth - from Burley to Salem part 1 - Mabgate

Dave Procter and Stockholm-based visual artist Geraldine Hudson began collaborating in early 2015, working on Geraldine's ongoing psycho-geographic project where she considers our psychological relationship to the changing environment where we live. The project in Leeds began with a psycho-geographic walk around the city and the effects and findings of this were manifested in a site specific installation, comprising of various materials, some found artefacts and a final projection, alongside a sound art piece which is a result of the walks. The resulting work was installed at Left Bank, Leeds in early May 2015

Below are some images from the installation -

Recordings of the sound art used and created by the installation space can be found here - https://legionofswine.bandcamp.com/album/from-burley-to-salem-wonderings-on-the-streets-of-leeds-pt-1
