Last week, I was in Stockholm at Larrys Corner to install some of my art, sharing the space with local artist Karl Boson.

A few weeks back, I was in Malmö where I gave a talk on The Miners Strike of1984-85. I attempted to contextualise the year long dispute, how it came about and the social and political consequences in the aftermath, some of which are still being felt today.

James Barrett and Dave Procter combine forces at the Instant History event at #LarrysCorner in #Stockholm tomorrow evening for an evening looking at the changing relationship between State and populace in the period 1984-94 in the UK. More information can be found at the link above, but here is a taster of what might happen tomorrow.....
Instant History is the name of the event where James Barrett and Dave Procter collaborate to reflect on a decade of socio-political history in the UK starting with The Miners Strike of 1984-85 and finishing with the The Criminal Justice Act of 1994.
This will be a multi-media event with songs, drones, images, video snippets and more......
